Totally Righteous Demon Weekend

Weegie boards. ‘Nuff said. Don’t mess around with these things. NOT ON MY WATCH! This is a real life event. Believe it or not. Here’s the story.

Josh, quite the curly headed Jew decided to invite some friends over for the weekend. He was bored of the same routines of having friends over, and having no memories to share with anyone. This weekend would never be forgotten.

Josh was the type of kid who loved hunting. He was so obsessed with hunting that even his cell phone case was camouflage. Miranda liked to remind him that he was insanely obsessed. He would just brush her off and ignore those small minded hunter insults. He was short, and skinny, yet a strong, strappin’ young lad. He lived out of town, a good way to show people he liked to party and live life to the fullest everyday. Not many friends were as ambitious and out-going as Josh. Miranda on the other hand knew many people like this. Josh, Miranda and some friends created this plan to hang out for the weekend. So, here all these teenagers headed out to the small, dead and lonely town of Meota. The day was going perfect. Everyone was laughing, cracking jokes, and just being little shit disturbers. The night took an epic turn and went down hill from then on.

Josh decided to surprise everyone by pulling out a weegie board. Which at first, Miranda laughed hysterically at the fact that it looked so unreal. Josh’s face said it all. This was no joke, this was not fake. He literally wanted to play with it. Mess with demons, talk to ghosts, experiment with the unknown. As Miranda watched with intriguing eyes, fixed to the board she got the balls to ask if she could join in. As she walked slowly towards the dining room table she seen it was Josh’s turn. This is where things got regrettable.

Everyone’s cell phone started going off. Buzzers going, phone calls going out, turning off and on repeatedly. This was including the fact that no one was receiving text messages so it wasn’t explainable why our phones were acting insane. It just began to get worse as they went on. After the cell phone incident, Miranda backed out and watched from the distance. It was Jordan’s turn now. Jordan, Josh’s best friend, would do anything he was told. He was a tall, skinny good looking kid. Josh told Jordan that it was his turn, even if Jordan didn’t want to go on, he would. Because, of course Josh told him to go on. As soon as Jordan sweated his way through his turn, they all waited for something horrible to come. Nothing happened. They all sighed in relief. Josh’s turn again.

Doors slammed, lights flickered, dining chairs went sliding across the room into the walls. Miranda freaked out, almost breaking down into tears, told the guys to knock it off and get rid of the weegie board. They finally gave in. They weren’t so brave now. They all sat together that night until Miranda left the house. She texted both eh guys the next morning to see if things went alright throughout the night. They each reassured her that they were fine and asked if she made it home safe and if anything weird happened to her during the night. She jokingly told them that she hated them both.

Josh got what he wanted. A weekend of regret, horror, and a stained pair of boxers. The three of them talked about that weekend every time they were in contact with eachother . Isn’t that what Josh was planning for?

  1. You did very well at leading up to the climax, it got scarier and scarier as it went along.
You could have used different wording for some things, such as little shit disturbers.
