Retnigla

Deep in the river hills of Saskatchewan is a creature so fierce and powerful that no one and nothing can stand up to it. The creature is neither human, nor animal. This hybrid phenomenon is unexplainable. Not many people have seen this creature, and many who have did not live to tell the story. But, of course there is always one or two people around to let us know about this frightening and deadly "thing". The story of the Retnigla comes from ancient times, many years before our time. The story was first told by the Natives that lived by the North Saskatchewan river to use the water to survive.

This story has gone through many years of changes, and not many people believed it was true. Until recently when the sitings began to happen more regularly. The story tells that the creature is stronger than anything they have ever seen, and fast, unbelievably fast. Although it is not very large, that could explain why it is not found or seen very often. The Retnigla is small and mighty, it can crush human skulls with its bare hands. It is neither male or female and has scales covering its stomach, but fur on its back. Long, sharp claws jab out of its toes, the hands are similar to humans but are webbed for swimming. Some people have said that the creature is so old, that it was a breed of a dinosaur and a caveman. The creature is truly an unexplainable phenomenon.
