Ghost Train!

The St. Louis light has been one of the most well known mysteries of Saskatchewan. Many theories have been discovered and seen by many witnesses. No one really knows which ones are more accurate or close to the truth, but the lights are there and mysterious. Could it be a ghostly train? Or maybe a lost conductor trying to find his head?

It was turning from fall to winter very quickly in the small town of St. Louis. After the train tracks were removed along with the tiny train station the local "cool kids" used to hang out at, the teenagers had no place to chill after school hours. One of the teenage girls' tells us about her experience with the light: It was the weekend of Halloween and all the high school students had planned to have a Halloween bash in the bush near the old tracks. Through the years about hearing of the creepy light that supposedly shows up near the tracks, they wanted to see for themselves. They were all out there, being their own rambunctious selves, causing some trouble but not to much. She tell us, "We were all busy having a good time when, out of no where we heard a very high pitched scream coming from just outside of the bush. Instantly we all froze, looking at each other we all dashed to see what was happening. My heart was beating so fast and the cool breeze made it hard to breathe. As we approached the screaming girls we all stood their in awe. There it was. The light that has everyone wondering. It was everything we thought it would be, scary as s**t!"

Many stories have come out about the light in St. Louis, all of them having different theories on what the light really is. The story that the high school students experienced just gets us another step closer to figuring out the St. Louis ghost train mystery.
